Seattle, WA Wedding: Ryan Flynn Photography

I just couldn't help but smile when I came across Ryan Flynn's blog a couple weeks ago. The first feature I found was this g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s. Seattle winter wedding, and then before I knew it, I had scrolled through the entire blog. All I could think was, I. Need. More! And I've been stalking ryanpflynn.com/blog ever since :) Enjoy!

Swooning? Yeah, thought so. Here are a few details I'm still obsessing over...
Ryan's mad skills... duh
The fish shot, I want a poster size
The amazing ceremony arch, dreamy and rustic - future DIY?
Tulips wrapped in birch bark
The last dance shot... you can't fake that emotion, it is pure bliss.

Ryan, thank you so much for sharing. Your work is fresh, yet timeless and I can't wait to feature more!

Seattle, WA Wedding: Kristen Honeycutt Photography

I have been blessed with some pretty incredible friends, two of which I am honored to feature in this very post.

First is the beautiful bride, Pamela. Pammy and I are sorority sisters and were roommates in Kirkland our first year out in the real world. She is gorgeous (duh, see below), hilarious, super laid back, and always 100% Pammy. The very first night she met Sean (the very lucky groom) at Wazzu, she came home and told us that she had met the man she was going to marry. Good call, Pammy :)

Second is the incredibly talented photographer, Kristen Honeycutt. Kristen and I also became friends at Tri-Delta. Her freshman year she met a cute Fiji boy, who is now her husband, and a couple years later she introduced me to his friend (another cute Fiji boy) who is now my husband... we still can't believe how nicely that worked out. Kristen started her photography business about two years ago, but when you look/drool at her work, you'd think she's been doing this since she could say "cheese".

Check out my amazing friends... how lucky am I??

Great Find: Calla Bridal - Seattle, WA

One of my very loyal friends and readers lives in downtown Seattle and passed along a great wedding dress store find: Calla Bridal. There are a number of bridal stores in the Seattle area that have an incredible selection of beautiful gowns, but Calla is the only salon in Washington State to offer one of my favorite lines to date: Reverie by Melissa Sweet

Reverie features elegant, whimsical, fairy tale-esque gowns; often embellished with sweet little ruffles, ribbon and rosebud details - the ultimate girly-girl wedding gown fantasy.

For your viewing pleasure...
"Eze" from Reverie

Thank you for the wonderful tip, Ms. Bostwick! I can't wait to see all of the little beauties Calla has to offer for myself. Check out the Reverie trunk show at Calla on January 8 - 10 at:

Seattle, WA 98115

Have  I mentioned that I love my blog readers?? Another fabulous reader, Claudia, may have cured my Anthropologie registry (or lack there-of) woes. Check out MyRegistry.com to create your own personalized registry from any on-line store your little heart desires. May the cute kitchen accessory obsessions begin :) Thanks for the tip, Claudia!
